New technologies help people improving their everyday life more and more intrusively, sometimes in an un-necessary way, just for leisure, sometimes – like our today’s device – they can gloriously affect the way gluten intollerant people approach food.
We are writing more and more often about the connection between food and technologies. Nima, a new gadget developed by 6SensorLabs in San Francisco, will be able to tell us if the meal we are going to eat contains gluten. It will be released in 2017 and it is possible to pre-order the tool for 200 $.
The device is on its way to success, as it includes some of the features that lately had led tech gadgets to success: it’s portable, easy to interact with and to use – if the meal is gluten free a smile will appear on the display – its design is minimal and elegant, and it works fast.
