The result is the interesting event held on Nov 22nd in Milan by Meet The Media Guru, which exceptional guest and speaker was Linda Vlassenrood.
Leading head of the DATAstudio project Linda talked about big data and smart cities, moreover on how their correct use and comprehension can lead to an effectively smart society.
What Linda Vlassenrood pointed out was the necessity to not forget that cities are made up of living people, not only by conglomerations of numbers and statistics. Data without context are useless. In Vlassenrood’s words: “you always have to enrich hard data with soft informations”, so to make a city “as smart as its citizens”.
As you know, the integration of quantitative research with an in-depth qualitative approach, as well as the care for small data, is a core point for baba… so we fiercely agree!
